The Global PAYplus™ Core Engine is the foundation for all implementations; it incorporates a powerful SQL database and messaging capabilities around key processing elements:
Multi-Bank/Multi-Entity Structure: Global PAYplus supports all global financial institution operational levels allowing for separate operations at a specific level, for example, the Country level, while allowing aggregation at higher levels, such as Regional or even Global. This structure also supports "white label" processing for external financial institutions, compartmentalizing each entity for privacy, accounting, and regulatory purposes.
Browser: Global PAYplus is fully browser-based, allowing users with appropriate security credentials to access the system from any bank location around the world for payment entry, validation, repair, reporting, or system administration.
Rules Engine: Global PAYplus incorporates a powerful rule-based processing engine allowing banks significant flexibility to tailor processing workflows for maximum Straight Through Processing; for payment product differentiation in terms, fees, and charging, notifications and other automated special handling for customer payments; and for compliance with any local or regional regulatory processing requirements.
Internal System Interfaces: Global PAYplus provides a flexible interfacing structure to internal bank systems such as DDA, FX Clearing, OFAC Interdiction, and many others.
RTGS/Clearing Links: Global PAYplus provides links to SWIFT and RTGS and National Clearing Systems.
These elements provide parsing, validation, transit and routing selection based on internally defined rules, transaction warehousing, comprehensive audit and security and many more functions that make the Core Engine a component with significant business value in its own right
Business
- A transit and routing hub that can provide a single point of management and control for all financial institution payments and integrates internal and external processing silos (such as those maintained at bank partners)
- A foundation for the delivery of business services. These can be traditional payment functions (such as "High Value Clearing", "SEPA", or others) or their constituent services (such as rule-driven Fees and Charges service)
